Where?
Speed dating events are held in stylish bars across Melbourne. Just search for an event book yourself a ticket, dress to impress, and you'll find yourself welcomed into a friendly and sociable gathering of like-minded singles all around your own age.
How?
You then get a series of one to one mini 'dates', each lasting around 4 minutes, when you do your best to make a good impression! But don't worry - everyone is in the same boat, and there's really no time to feel awkward. Most people are surprised at how easy the whole speed dating process is, and how the conversation flows.
You'll be given a card to make brief notes as you go along, then after the event you'll get to input your ticks against those people you'd like to see again. When all that's done, you'll find out the next day if you have any 'matches' i.e. anyone you ticked that also ticked you - you'll be free then to make contact, and meet for a proper date, and let the real fun begin!
